Jill Lustig

I am an actress, writer, teacher and Producing Partner at The Broward Center for the Performing Arts.  I have worked in arts education and the TYA space for over 25 years. I have a degree in Musical Theater from Emerson College and studied at the famed Second City Training Center. I toured nationally and internationally as an actress and produced award-winning original TYA productions throughout the tristate area. I most recently helmed the theatre departments of four schools in South Florida and for over a decade have served as the lead teacher for The Performance Project’s summer camp at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Additionally, I was a part of the inaugural staff to open the Rose Miniaci Arts Education Center at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, and continue to serve as a teaching artist there for all ages most recently in their civics through the arts initiative in conjunction with the Broadway across America series.

My teaching and coaching style is energetic and supportive and my approach aims to educate the whole student through art. The fine arts are a lifelong resource for people and I teach through a life lesson/stage lesson methodology that can prepare students for a life on the stage and most importantly prepare them for life beyond the stage.
